For the second time she was going back to high school. The same high school that she had graduated from with her friends and loved ones. She wasn't psychotic or anything; she just thought to go back to school just for the hell of it. Like always, Delilah was the first one there, well for the students that is. She was roaming around in the hallways after long forty years. So much has changed. I can't believe I'm back in La Push and going back to school, again.
She was exicted to be back in town and knew that it was perfect timing also. As the students started to come, she smiled at them; just being friendly as they look at her like she's too old to go back to school. Okay she might be fifty but looks like eighteen year old. She shrugged and went to the main office to get her schedule for her classes; she had signed up for all AP and took P.E. like everyone else. Who knows she might drop out and just be herself at her house. With papers in her hands and couple of books she was walking through the hallways after she got her schedule.
As Delilah walked through the hallway, she wasn't paying any attention to anything except her excitement of being back in La Push. Though she wasn't sure why she was back in high school but she looked like a teacher than a student. She could careless about it because she woke up late and didn't much have time to put on her lenses so she just wore her glasses, with skirt and a top. When it comes to fashion, she doesn't leave behind but since she's fashion designer, she makes her clothes. Delilah wondered if the students she went high school with were there as teachers since couple of people wanted to return to La Push High as a teacher and teach kids. It was just a thought.
Being in her own world, she wasn't seeing where she was going. Better yet she wasn't even sure what time was it but when she came back to the world, she looked at the students who were walking to their classes, boys staring at her--more like gwaking--which doesn't make any difference to her. "Let's see what I have first." She murmured to herself as she looked down to her schedule and read her first class was Art--not that she minds. Delilah walked into the classroom, gave the piece of paper to the teacher who was looking at her--making her chuckle a little. Once the teacher was done with everything, he told her where to sit and she took her seat. There was couple of minutes til the bell rings as she waited she got a pen and spiral out and placed it on the desk. outfit

Damen stepped out of his dark blue chevy shutting the door behind him. He liked his car don't get him wrong but blue just was not his first choice for a car maybe blakc or dark green. But this is what his father gave him and since he only had to pay for insurance and not the car itself he took what he got. Damen threw his bag over his shoulder walking away from the parking lot and onto school property. It was just another day of school to him something he intened to finish and be done with for the rest of his life that was for sure. He was more or less looking forward to the fact he planned to surf after school today.
Damen had patrol later tonight he did plan on showing up but not before getting to a good mood. He loved Surfing and it would be a good to start of patrolling on a good note. He was looking forward to it for once. Damen walked into the hallway dipping to the water fountain for a quick drink. Even though he knew how bad the school water was it was not like it could affect him all to much really. Damen may have been looking forward to after school but first period not so much. Art what guy liked art seriously I mean to him it was a pointless class but all the same he intened to pass it. Or attempt to in the least Damen walked into the class room tossing his bag down at his feet before plopping down in his seat.
He glanced at the clock good one minute before the bell rings. Damen smiled to himself leaning back in the chair not bothering to get anything out he looked around him for the first time noticing a new face. Why had he not seen her before but he quickly snapped his gaze away for staring that would just be rude after all. But he could not help but sneak a glance even though he was not the one to usually start conversations with new people he could not help himself her for some reason. There was something about this girl but her ignored it. "Hey your new here right? he asked softly his hand running over his shaven head.

First thing that usually comes in mind of students that hate school is--living hell. All they want to do is hang out with their friends and goof off like irresponsible kids. To Delilah she loves school so it's not a problem with her. She's great in most of the subjects--in P.E. she has her wolf genes to help her in running and as far as sports go she's good at it. She might be the only child and her parents have passed away but she has guy friends who offers her to teach her to play sports. She isn't average girl at all--she does what she thinks it's right for her even if she's wrong. But hey you gotta do what you gotta do. Right?
Art might be the easiest thing for her but not for others. As she waited she noticed something that she hadn't--a picture on the teacher's desk, husband and wife to be more exact. From the picture she saw that the teacher was married to one of her friend's sister--which she knew. Delilah never thought that she would see her happy but the picture was black and white and adorable. Must go see her once I'm done with school. She thought as looked at the painting on the walls and smiled how unique they are and express in so many different ways. Being in art class people can express themselves from painting instead of talking and acting--that's why she loves to draw things.
From corner of her eye she noticed a tall, muscular, and shaven guy who to her looked sexy. Delilah heard the bell ring at the same time she heard the guy next to her talk. His deep voice was ringing in her ears--in a good way of course. Once the question was out she knows that she can't ignore the person, plus she knew better to ignore the person that was being friendly. She turned to look at him, smilingly and saw that he was somewhat shy. "If you say so." She wasn't new in La Push just returned after long, long time. "Delilah Knightly. And you must be?" Delilah isn't shy around people at all, she might be a nerd but not shy. She's outgoing person and little loud sometimes and isn't scared to try anything--even risk her life.

Damen really was not in the mood for a lecture which was one of the many glories of having art. Yes there were lectures but they were never to long just explain what they were doing and blah blah. Art was a nice morning class to be honest not to mention most were half asleep so going through the motions of creating something was easy. It was easier not to get caught sleeping as well. Most of the time not that he would know of course. Though he did like an occasional nap he was smart about and had only been caught twice by the teacher. Still had yet to get in trouble for it thought thankfully this teacher was not to strict. His punishment for sleeping was usually a loud noise like a book being dropped by him or something.
Damen took in the girls look a second time since he was talking to her now it was not a hinderance to look at her. He had to say she looked older then most girls in the room but not to old to be honest she could fit in if it wasn't for maybe for her clothes. Most girls at this school did not have the guts to wear boots. But then again it was nice to see soemone with enough confidence to wear then. Damen knew how he was with the female half of the student body. He was the sweet gentleman with a few crushes on him though he was to laid back to do anything about them. He had yet to step up to the plate it was just who he was.
He noticed her comment and softly shook his head"Well I havn't seen you before, So your new to me." he said surprised by his little boldness. He glance at the teacher Mr. Gumble Damen knew he would not get in trouble for talking at least not yet he was still sorting out his roster and plan for the day he figured. "I'm Damen Call" he said holding out his hand for her to shake he was being nice he figured he might as well start out on the right foot with this girl. There was just something about her that interested him though he had yet to put his finger one it. "Nice meet you Delilah, How long have you been in town?" he asked curiosuly.

Delilah chuckled when the boy next to her talked. She shook his hand, and from his touch, she felt his body temperture hotter than hers. And the smell that was coming off of his, woods and pines, meant that he was a shapeshifter. Someone like her, though of course she isn't jumping into conclusion at all. Damen. What a cute name and looks hot too. She thought to herself. "It's nice to meet you Damen. You're what, junior, senior, freshman?" When she said the word 'freshman' her voice was in joking tone and hopes that he doesn't take her seriously. She loves to joke around even the person she doesn't know but she can see and tell that she and Damen are going to get along. Different things attracts. Right?
As Mr. Gumble started talking about the assignment for the week, she looked at the teacher as she wrote it down on her spiral where she doodled random things there. She doodles when she's bored or when something is on her mind and just want to burst it out and tell everyone--Delilah isn't a gossiper and never will be. But when there is something in her mind it's usually concerning things in her life or someone who she knows. The doodling that on her paper was mostly flowers and butterflies--meaning that she wasn't bored or thinking about something, it was something that she feeling inside. Delilah should have drawn a picture to express her feelings but she just doodled mindlessly. She doodles rare but lately she's been doodling instead of making designs of clothes. Probably because she's missing Paris and everything from there; on the bright side, she's happy to be back in La Push once again. It feels good and it's the place where she belongs.
When Mr. Gumble finished talking about the assignments, he moved on telling the class that they have new student. That made her look at the teacher and smiled at him. 'Ms. Delilah Knightly, would you stand up and tell us something about yourself.' Delilah got up from her seat and walked in front of the class, her boots hitting the floor and making noises and could feel the stares from other students. She could careless about the stares because she isn't there to fight back or anything--she's just there to have great time and be with everyone. She faced everyone and took in deep breathe before she started talking. "I'm Delilah Lilly Knightly. I was born here in La Push then moved to Paris, where I grew up there. For some odd reason, I'm back here with my friend and cousin. Though you won't able to see them around La Push much since they're busy running their things in Seattle. Anyway, I'm happy to back and this time I'm here for good. I'd love to get to know everyone and hopefully we can be friends." She finished off with a smile and walked back to her seat, feeling really happy.
From corner from her eye she noticed that another guy was staring at her. She found it cute. Playfully she winked at him, making him blush and making her chuckled lightly. Delilah turned her attention to Damen, who to her looked like he wasn't really interseted in Art at all. Which wasn't surprising because not everyone likes Art. She leaned towards him and whispered, "Why are you here in the first place? The class I mean." She was little curious about and wanted to know. Delilah could smell his cologne--something spicy and something that she can't put her finger on it.
[[OOC: sorry it's long. got carried away. lol]]

Damen retracted his hand to himself placing it on his desk glancing up at the front of the room only looking back to her at her next question. He smiled at and simply shook his head. " Do I look like a freshman. " he said simply. He was a senior and proud of it after this year he would be done with school and would not have to put up with lectures and teachers. Unless he went to college which was a whole other thing he had yet to think about. For one thing he had to stay with the pack and another what would he do? homestly he had a good life here and could probably get a job though some traveling might be fun.
It would be fun to get away for awhile and see what was outside this small town. Though he was sure it was not much you could never really know till you saw it for yourself. Who knew maybe a nice couple months would help change into who he wanted to eb and he would not be such a push over in the pack. Damen caught the assignment it was simple enough for a senior in highschool it was not hard really though he knew he had to put effort in. Damen watched as Delilah got to the front of the class and sputter off about herself. So she was orignally from La Push why didn't he recognize her name then. He shook the questions off as she returned to her seat looking over to her as she sat. " You really want to befirend everyone in this room? "
He was only being sarcastic but he knew a quarter of these people were fake, self absord, stuck ups. All people he could not really stand but to each there own. " Not that you probably arnt capable of it. I'm sure." he said just making an observation her wink at the other guy not slipping by him. He smiled when she asked why he was in this class. " What would your prefer in the morning a long lecture a jaunt around the gym with half awake sweaty teens or this. " he said with a small laugh at his own comment glancing towards the front of his room not to be to loud.

Once everyone was free to start the project and saw half of the class talking while doing what they're supposed and others just doing their assignment. She got up, walked in front of the room, once again, and grabbed two large piece of white paper and two box of pastels--one for her and one for Damen. She returned to her seat, handed Damen his paper and a box of pastels and placed hers on the desk. The question she asked him kinda took him off guard. Which she was only joking. Delilah sighed and looked at him into his eyes. "Chill man. I was just kidding. You're a senior and happy to be one too. I can tell." Before she starts her project, she placed her things back in the bag, grabbing a pencil and started sketching a landscape--night view, with trees, grass, flowers, full moon that shines down to the lonely wolf. That wolf was none other than Delilah. She was lonely yet happy to be single. If only she would find someone who she knows would love her.
Delilah stopped sketching as she looked at Damen for a moment to answer his question. "Well not everyone. But I can be total bitchy person, stuck up, like those girls over there," She pointed to group of girls that were talking something which she doesn't want to know or care about it. "I can fit in with everyone and dress as anyone too. But I like to be real and not be someone who I'm not. You know." Delilah hates it when someone acts like someone else just to get someone's attention. She always been true to herself and does what she thinks is right. She never really hurted anyone, even if she did it was years ago which she doesn't want to remember or talk about to anyone. She just keeps it on low profile and not let anyone find about it. "Why? Curious much? And what exactly do you mean by I'm not capable of?" Delilah raised an eyebrow as she said that and smirked.
Talking to Damen, was like talking to couple of her old friends back in the days. She was comfortable with talking to him and just say what usually is on her mind. Delilah hates to lie and it was somethign that she learned from her parents. The more you lie you're not going to stop and just keep lying just to cover it up. For a second she looked down at her sketch, adding couple of branches then she set the pencil down and opened the pastel box and took brown pastel and started outlining it. Listening to Damen talk, he did have a point about the lecture early in the morning--not that she minds lectures because she already went to college and got her degree. "That's true. So what do you do when you're done for the day at school?" Delilah wants to get to know Damen little better and let him get comfortable with her. When Damen talks, she listens carefully because she can hear his tone little nervous and shy. It was cute because she hasn't met a guy that is shy and outgoing much--rare to find in guys.

Damen figured the assignment would be easy it was earlier in the semester so it was still sketching and simple things. You were suppose to capture a scene and it was not longer going to be as simple as an black and white there would be color. It would not be to hard he figured if he actually put an effort into it that was. His attention turned back to Delilah as she got up to get some supplies. Somethng he was avoiding yes he could be a bit of a lazy bum in the morning he was more of a night person after all. " I know....I'm glad this is my final year it'll be nice to...see the world finally. " he said with a small smile as he pictured the summer her alread had planned so soon in the semester. But he had his loves and things he looked forward to and not many things could change his mind on this.
" Thanks " He said looking at the plain sheet debating how to start. He glanced over seeing hers a curious look on his face as he watched her add a wolf. " That's pretty cool. " He said motioning to her drawing before looking back to his own pulling out a black pastel he was going to put everything in a bit of an outline it would be fun to see if it worked out. He focused in creating a bit of a forrest scene he outlined the trees shrubery the light shinging in through the trees. But he stopped knowing he was missing something. He stayed focused on his drawing but still replied to Delilah." I'm just making a general observation...You seem like a nice girl who could get along with anyone she wanted to. Correct me if I'm wrong. " he said a smile appearing on his face he breifly stole a glance at her.
" Somethings missing. " he said more to himself then to Delilah. He sighed wracking his brain he was sure he could pull off the forrest scene easy for a grade but he was not going to slack off that bad. Then it hit him and he sketched in to forms faceing each other both human. Once his added color he was sure it would make more sense. " After school? " he said looking to her. " I usualy hang with my pack of friends. " he said casually with a shrug. " But today I'm plan on going to first beach and attempting surfing if the weather will permit it " he said glancing at the clock he was so looking forward to it but it was so far away. " Curious much? " he said softly turning her own words on her.

Being a senior came lots of responsibility--apply for college, get good grades, GPA must be good, write essays, take SATs /ACTs [last minute], check class rank--it's just crazy senior year where you slack off. Because you'll be pulled back and take summer school just to finish the classes that they slacked off in. Senior year isn't really the year to do whatever you won't because next year you're about to face the reality world where no one is there to tell you what to do--that is if you're staying with your parents' then they'll tell you what to do. Listening to Damen, she wanted to tell him about senior year, but she stopped herself because she doesn't want him or anyone else to know the real deal--her age that is--and people might just freak out. Well not freak out but they won't understand anything about it. So she just nodded to his answer and smiled. It was the best she can do at the situation.
Delilah was done sketching her drawing and it colored nicely. Out of the whole sketch her favorite was the wolf--white-grey wolf. Not being certain, she wondered if Damen thought she was wolf, because both of their skins were hot and she could smell his scent of being a wolf. She actually loves the smell of woods and the pines, especially when it rains, the smell is just---something that she can't even describe. She noticed that Damen was catching up to her, like knowing her personalities. Delilah watched him as he sketched his drawing, it was good. "Thanks about the wolf adding. But you're not wrong at all, there are things you don't know about me and it might take you a while to get to that point where you know everything. Of course, I don't nothing about you, other than the fact that you're Embry's son." After saying that she regretted because he hadn't told her that he is the son of Embry Call. Nice blowing up the cover, Del. She thought and looked away quickly.
Delilah shouldn't have mentioned anything about Embry at all. Then she has to explain it to him about it, how she knows his dad and suck. It wasn't pretty sight and answering the question either. She sighed and looked down at her sketch and grabbed black marker and in cursive, she signed her name in small letters. Much better. She set the marker down and stared at the paper that laid in front of her. She was getting these weird feelings that she can't tell anyone about--can't explain--and she doesn't know what it was. When looking at the picture she thought that something is going to happen when she's in wolf form, same time of the day and place but what? Delilah let that one back of her mind and concentrate on what was there--school.
She looked at Damen as he worked on his sketch. He was taller than her but she still can't guess from it since they're both sitting down. "You like or love surfing? And there is a difference in both of them but either way, beats me." Delilah shrugged on what she said and took a glance around the room, seeing that the same group of girls were still talking and from their talks, it looked like to her that they weren't working on their assignments like they supposed to. She isn't the teacher so she doesn't care but she couldn't help herself from muttering, "Wonder when they shut up. Damn it's annoying." Delilah looked at Damen when he turned her own words on her, it was quite funny to her but she didn't smile, she just grimaced at him and shrugged. "Just trying to get to know you little better, that's all. I wouldn't use curious much in it."
