Jason walked through the woods. School was over and he needed to hunt if he was going to survive the next day. Jason was a great hunter like his father. Nobody knew how he had learned to hnt so fast. He knew that made his cousin Serena mad.
Jason came upon a nice elk herd. He crouched down and waited. Finally he pounced and took two out at the same time. He dranked the first one day fast but slowed down on the second. The other elks had ran off but he knew he needed one more before school tomorrow.
He found one that was lame. It was suffering. It would die anyway. Jason could at least put the poor thing out of his misery. He pounced on it and dranked. As he dranked a trap that a hunter had out closed on his leg. It didn't hurt him really and the thing broke. He looked at the elk and saw that it had one of its legs as well. The animal would have died of blood loss anyway. He took the contraption off. The elk was dead. He sighed and turned around and saw someone standing behind him. "Hello" he said to the stranger. He couldn't see their eyes so he had no idea if they were human or not.

Amy was frolicing through the forrest yes frolicing why shouldn't she. She was actually in a rather dark mood oddly enough and was doing anything and everything to lighten it up. She had attempted a nice hunt and tumble with an animal but it had not done the job. If anything else it worsened her mood even more. She did not know what was up with her. She was have the mood swings from hell it seemed one day all happy and smiled the next dark and brooding. She was not one to brood it did not suit her it was bad for her complexion. But like he complexion really mattered anymore it was flawless for an eternity the perks of being a vampire ageless beauty.
Amy snapped out of the thought as another vampires scent caught her attention is was one she had not run across before. She hesitated not sure if she was up to be in the presence of another right now with her mood. But then again the tracker in her was itching to follow the scent and track someone. So within a second her mind was made up as she shot off into the forrest. It would not hurt to see who the trail belonged to after all. Amy slowed down as she found herself getting closer the scent was getting stronger. She was sure there was no one else around other then the person she was following. She knew she would be fine if she needed to escape...she could run hopefully faster then her pursuer but she had a feeling it would not be an issue.
Amy came to a stop her bright eyes landing on a blond male feeding. Well she was not the only person who hunted in this forrest but she kind of knew that already but this was the first person she had seen first hand. He was cute but nothing like Alex...Landon. She pushed those thoughts away as she realized he had noticed her. "Um...Hi..." she said it might be good to make friends around here. "That was nice of you..." she said refering to the elk that had been caught in the trap. Not the most fluent sentence she had put together but then again she was not at the top of her game.

Jason noticed her eyes finally. They were red. 'Great' he thought. "Hello" he said inching a little bit away. He looked at the elk and then back at her. "Thank you" he said. She seemed nice enough but had no idea if she would attack him or not. He kept his golden eyes on her just to be sure.
"So. You live around here somewhere" he asked. He hoped she didn't know about his family. Maybe she didn't know the Cullens. Maybe she would think that he was alone. He didn't want to put his family in danger if she was a bad vamp.
His golden eyes swept the forest to see if she was alone or not. He didn't smell any other vamps but he wanted to be sure. "Are you alone" he asked. Jason kept looking around not wanting any surprised attacks. If he concentrated he could probably keep one vamp in the air while fighting the other if there was another around here. So far this one didn't present any hostile movements.

Amy hoped he was not going to mean and rude like everyone else around here seemed to be. Everyone had a stick stuck up there butt or something. Or they were just someone from her past easily swayed by some dumb humans blood something she would fix hopefully. He was the first male she had run into actually other then Al..Landon. "Your Welcome." she said softly. "Oh I'm sorry I'm Amy." she said introducing herself might as well be nice. after all what could be the harm in this really. She held out her hand to shake. "I promise I won't bite" she said making a joke wow she was in a dark mood and cracking jokes.
"Kind of I'm new here I have a place it's small but cute..." She sighed she was here for Landon though she was not sure she could be here and not be with him but not that she was here she did not want to be without him. "Yes I'm alone I mean I have people I know...but I'm alone...." she said not liking those words Alone something she did not like at all. Amy did not want to be alone even in her time with out anyone she was not alone she surrounded her with friends fake ones yes. But friend she hated being alone it kind of scared her.
"What about you...You live around here?" she asked politely trying to avoid her dark mood she did not want it to overtake her.She glanced around the trees nothing seemed to be lurking about. She kind of liked these wood your could so easily get lost in them. She liked that idea but then again she would be by herself and she could not stand that for to long before tracking herself back to civilization.

He smiled and asked "You sure?" Feeling a little bit better he walked up to her. "So what are you doing out here alone" he asked. The girl seemed nice enough. He smiled and looked up. He could see the sky it was sunny. Jason looked and saw Amy sparkling. He had of course been right about her being a vampire.
Jason nodded. He was only alone out here. His family was back at the house. He sighed. He wondered what they were doing. He looked down at the ground and moved a rock from in front of him. He hated stuff that could hurt anyone in his way. "My family is back at the house. I went hunting cause I had to before I went back to that blasted school full of humans."
"Yeah. My house is that way" he said pointing in the direction to the Cullen household. "If you want you can stop by and hang out. I mean since you are alone here." He was hoping that they could be friends. "Don't worry I won't bite either" he said with a smile. "My family is big but they are nice."
