Jason waited for his cousin Serene outside. They were going hunting together. They hadn't been hunting together in years and after nearly snapping at that human earlier today he needed it. Ever since he had lost control and killed two humans that the animal blood wasn't good enough. He wondered if this was how his dad felt every day. He would have to talk to him later about it.
He closed his eyes as he waited for her. They hadn't talked in a while so they had no idea what was going on in each others lives. Serene would go crazy when she found out that Jason thought that he was in love with a human girl. Ah Sophie. A girl he noticed but never really talked to that was untill her scent became so intoxicating that he couldn't deny it anymore. He tried to stay away from her. He didn't want to anymore.
He sighed as he leaned against the wall of the house. He wondered why it was taking Serene so long to get ready. He looked at the door and tapped his foot. For someone who needed to hunt now she was sure taking a long time. Finally he walked inside. He walked into the living room and shouted "Serene you ready."

Serena ran up to her bedroom while her favorite cousin waited outside for her. She hadn't spent any time with him with how long they had been cousins. She needed blood and she had said so to her cousin. She had hunted with pretty much everyone in their family, all except Jason. She sighed sweetly and got dressed out of her school clothes. She dressed in a pair of shorts, a strapless top, and her favorite sneakers. No humans usually entered the forest where they lived.
SHe smiled and pulled her hair in a high ponytail. She knew Jason was probably getting impatient. She heard him yell for her and she laughed quietly. She opened her door and walked out shutting it quietly. She gracefully danced down the steps and crashed into Jason's chest wrapping her arms around his waist and burying her face in his chest. He was taller than her, not by much. She was only five foot eight and she figured he was about six feet, maybe more.
SHe smiled and stretching up on his tiptoes kissed his cheek. She kept her arms around his waist. It was just her loving him in a cousin way. She wished they weren't cousins. If they weren't, she could express what feelings she was suppressing. Plus she didn't know if he would think of her the same if she told him. If it got to the point of him squeezing it out of her fine, but she most likely wouldn't tell him right away. Ever since he joined the family, she thought of him as something more than a cousin.
