No Ordinary Girl Amy walked into Newton Outfitters glancing around she actually needed a few things. She was getting settled down in her house after all and it was a little barren. She wanted to ask for help but decided against it as she picked up a basket and walked slowly down the first aisle of merchadise . Her bright blue eyes looked over the items as she slowly passed them. Her contacts where bugging her eyes today and she had considered just taking them out and where sunglasses but it was never sunny around her it seemed so it was not the best idea. Amy let out a groan she did not even know here way around here yet. Soemthing she would have to fix an soon. But one step at a time first see need a few things from this store if she could find a damn thing.
One hand cluthced the basket as she grabbed a few basic provision a brush, barretes. But they were not what she needed in the least. Amy's thoughts were nagging at her she had found Alex finally but he was with some girl when she had saw him. He knew he had not of seen her but she had all these questions going on in her head. had he moved on? Did he like this girl? Who was she? Why her? Amy shook her head knowing she was just tortueing herself with pointless questions she would have to save for him or the little tart he was with. What the hell had he been up to the past some odd years?
Amy had not realized how upset she was till she felt the handle of the basket break up her grip. "Great!" she muttered glancing around making sure no one saw her. She put her attention back to shopping as she walked down a new aisle looking at the items they have. But only letting the shopping have half of her attention. She really was not going to get anything done if she kept this up she just had to focus on other things and not worry about her thoughts.

If one thing was weird about Emily it was probably the fact that she didn't hate work. She actually love to work at Newton's. It got her out of the house, away from her dad. Of course, if she had the night shift and got home too late, well... to put it simply the night ended badly. The one thing she hated was the orange vest. That terrible orange vest. It was the ugliest thing in the world and never matched with anything. Which is why Emily stopped trying to match it. There was no point.
That's why she was so relieved when her shift was finally over. Thank god it was because she was ready to go home and lie in bed. After everything, all she did was think about what happened. Sometimes she smiled and sometimes she bite her lip at the memories. It just depended on what she remembered.
When Emily was finally done in the staff room, she exited out the door. Walking past the cashier, she noticed someone that she worked with on a shift once. The girl was nice but Emily had to get along with the girl at work. She couldn't be the bitch that she usually was, which sucked as well. Not as bad as the orange vest though. When Emily turned back around, she hadn't noticed in time to move out of the girl's way and she ended up bumping shoulders with the black haired girl. "Oh," Emily responded, having to think before you talked anymore, "Um, sorry. You okay?" Stupid work rule, although when she thought about it, it was probably her fault but then again, who knew?

Just Living in a Plain Kind of World. Amy was lost in her own little world something that was not that hard to do now a days. Amy did seem to have a lot of he mind but within good reason. Besides she was used to to just her and her thoughts she was cofortable that way. Yes little ms Amy knew how to be sociala nd quiant to humans to get what she wants but that was about the extent of her interaction in the past few years. Amy could easily carry on a conversation no sweat she could talk about literally nothing for hours. But the part of her usually was not one to come out.
Amy looked up just as she bumped shoulder with some person. She almost growled at the girl but held herself back before taking a look at her. She was the girl she had saw Alex with when she had first seen him. Why wasn't she dead she was human right maybe she was just over reacting. She finally registered the girl had said something to her. Amy let a small polite smile slip onto her face. "Hi" she said softly. "I'm fine I think it was partly my fauly for not paying attention." she said with a shrug preparing to turn and walk away but she stopped herself what if tis was the girl Alex had moved on to what if? Oh my did she have luck on her side today.
"Um...Sorry but I'm new around here could you possibly help me? I need to find a few things." she said adding a smile hoping the girl would help her out give her a chance to talk to her find out some information. After all she did not want to just assume things here she could end up hurting the wrong person. Someone innocent and she did not think she was up for that. "Just some house hold things...." she added as she took in the girls looks for a second time she was actually kind of pretty. But that was not going to change anything if she was the one. "Oh I'm Amy by the way." she said sticking out a hand to be polite might as well no harm in knowing names. She had considered using a different one but then again it could work to her advantage this way.

"Hi"
Emily bit her lip as her eyebrow started to raise. "Hey..." she responded, not really use to nice people. That was probably only because she had talked to exactly two people in her stay here and North Dakota wasn't exactly her favorite place in the world. Emily looked at the girl, getting a good look of her. She looked a lot like someone she knew but she couldn't place her finger on it.
"I'm fine I think it was partly my fauly for not paying attention."
She nodded slowly, feeling very weird. Just some weird vibe. Maybe she was going insane. Who knew really. "Okay," she said with a shrug. It it weren't for the work environment, Emily wouldn't have said that. Let alone say sorry but if the boss caught her being rude, she'd be fired on the spot.
"Um...Sorry but I'm new around here could you possibly help me? I need to find a few things." "Just some house hold things...."
Huh? Emily was beyond confused. Some household things? From an outdoor store? "Um, I'm actually off shift but do you like, live in a tent or something because I'm not sure how much you'll find from an outdoors store," she replied, looking around the store for lack of something better to do. Technically, she was joking in a non-funny manner. If that makes any sense at all.
"Oh I'm Amy by the way."
Emily looked down to Amy's hand. Something felt... just, wrong. "Emily," she said back, shaking her hand. She kept her face smooth as she realized how cold her hands were. Normally, that would click in pace for some people but Emily's brain was running slower then normal ever since the day out in the woods, like she was in a daze or her own world. Really she was because no real world consisted of vampires.

Where Anything Could Happen Amy sighed a little frustrated with herself had she really just had the worlds biggest blonde moment. No no she was just having an off day but could you blame her. But she would be back on her game in a few seconds. After all who knew what she might have in her hands here or rather who. This could work to her benefit after and she kind of liked being in a position of power. It was not somethng she was used to really but she rather liked the feeling. She had not been in a position of power very often when she hunted yes but that was different she did not hunt humans. She kept to animals she had done it for Alex but obviously now that had all been pointless.
"Sorry, Have you ever had one of those days where your bodies here and your head is elsewhere." she said tilting her head to the side her eyes looking into the girls. She was a pretty girl but what did she have that Amy didn't really. Yes she was alittle envious and jealous but she knew she was jumping ahead of herself. She did not want to come off as werid or anything to the girl "It's been a long week for me How long have you lived here in....Forks?" she asked glancing at the store so she worked here. Huh? she would have to file that away for later she might just have to keep track of this girl. Follow her and see if this was the one she was looking for.
"Nice to meet you" She said a small smile mslipping onto her red lips. Amy retracted her hand glancing down at the basket maybe it was pointless to go shopping at all. Beside she had a project on her hands. She sighed he free hair going through her dark main of hair. "I'm still trying to figure everthing out around here...Do you know many people around here?" she asked trying to be careful with her words.

"Sorry, Have you ever had one of those days where your bodies here and your head is elsewhere."
She didn't want to talk to much. This was a completely stranger and Emily wasn't one to tell her life's story to someone she had just met. Many answers filled her head but she stayed calm and kept a serious face. "Sure," she replied with a nod and a shrug. Everyone, at some point in their life, had those days. It was pretty much weird for anyone to not feel like that.
"It's been a long week for me How long have you lived here in....Forks?"
Sure, okay. Emily really didn't care. She just wanted to go home and fall asleep. It had been a long day and she was ready for a nap. She could probably fall over at that point and just sleep on the floor. She'd be hurting whenever she woke up but the thought of closing her eyes sounded nice. "Two or three weeks," she answered with a shrug. She would've asked how long the other girl... Amy, had been in Forks but she had said it's been a long week so she was guessing a week. Besides, if she could hurry the conversation up, she might be able to go home.
"I'm still trying to figure everthing out around here...Do you know many people around here?"
Emily shrugged and looked around the store. Bed sounded so nice. "Not really, most people who live here aren't found of making new friends and having new people in town," she replied. She yawned before looking back to the girl.

If You Open Yourself Up Amy sighed she had a feeling this girl wanted to get the heck out of here. She felt kind of sheepish and dumb but that feeling faded quickly. She was a vampire not some stupid human she was not going to let this girl get to her. After all she had an agenda to take care of and was going to take care of it at al costs literally. She was going to get what she wanted no matter what. She wanted her everything back to the way it was suppose to be. And she was willing to do it at all costs she would do anything she wanted to be happy again.
Amy noticed she was being short with her and she bite her lip for a moment. She set the shopping basket down she no longer needed it after. No she was done shopping she had found what she had wanted. Just smell her she had vampire all over her this human...was who she was looking for had to be. "Oh Only been here a couple days...She said even though the girl hadn't asked. "Nobody seems to be nice around here...I don't like it." she said being rather honest that girl in the forrest had been a pain. Alex well landon had torn her heart up and this chick well it was self explainitory.
"I think this town needs to be fixed." she said musing ot herself. "Sorry if I'm stopping you from running off to bed. I'm just a curious girl." she said simply with a shrug but she did not budge to get out of Emily's way. She did not intend on her going home at least not yet. She did not have what she wanted from her. "You know I was wondering if anyone has been nice to you..." she said giving her a curious look she did not care what the other girl thought of her. She was long past that moment of caring really.

"Oh Only been here a couple days...
Emily nodded slowly. She guessed that already and she guessed right. She wasn't stupid after all. She really wished she was on her way home. She had tons of things to do but first she needed a nap. If she got home too late though, she wouldn't have time for one. She spun her keys around on her finger, getting somewhat impatient but you couldn't tell that from the outside. She was just thinking it on the inside.
"Nobody seems to be nice around here...I don't like it."
She shrugged. She already knew there weren't many nice people around here. For such a small town, it wasn't very cozy. She already knew from the first day of school that living here would be hell. As soon as she first got abused by her drunken father, she knew she was going to go through hell. Instead of complaining about it though, she sucks it up and goes on. You're talking to the wrong person if you're looking for nice, she thought to herself and smiled apologetically at the girl. "Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm sure you'll meet somebody who's nice," she replied.
"Sorry if I'm stopping you from running off to bed. I'm just a curious girl."
Yeah, I can tell that,
[/i] she thought to herself. She looked at the clock on the wall and sighed. If she didn't get home in the next thirty minutes, she wouldn't be getting a nap at all because the thirty minutes after that would be too short for a nap. She looked back to the girl, waiting for her to finish this up, but it didn't seem it would unless Emily pushed it that way. "You know I was wondering if anyone has been nice to you..." Lie damnit,[/i] her own conscience told her. She proceeded to do what she was told. Even if it was a made up cricket or not. Ha, so not funny. "Not really," she replied with a shrug and looked at the clock again. Now it was time to speed things up. "I should really be going now," she added, sounding in a rush. Which was exactly what she was, in a rush. When she looked back to the girl, something clicked. She looked almost like Landon, if not more. Same very pale skin, same dark hair. She was in debelief at what she was looking at, but shook herself out and looked back to the clock. She would ask Landon about the girl later, she just needed to get home. To All The Possibilities Amy could plays the nice little girl if she wanted to but no not anymore. She kind of liked being the boss and was not going to let this go so easily. She did not care how impatient she got after all she never stood a chance against Amy right. She was stronger puny human she smiled happily at her thoughts but quickly snapped out of then not wanting to give the girl a chance to walk away. After all Amy had more then just questions for the girl after all. Amy scratched the back of her neck this girl was not that nice what did anyone see in her. "You...." she said before shaking her head. "Emily I'm sorry but I don't think you telling me everything." she said her hand falling to herside before placing it on her hip.
"No...I probably wont this town seems to be full of rude people who just don't give a care...like you." she said her voice actually sounding rather sweet and sugar coated. "Your not going anywhere....do you have any idea who I am." she said stepping in her way so she could not get past her. Amy was not going to let her slip away like that no not now that she had her here. Maybe she would need to go some where more private but really she did not think she would have much of an issue here if Emily knew what was good for her after all. Then again some humans were so thick headed at times.
"I still want talk to you....and you not leaving till I say so." Amy took a step forward towards Emily empaszing her point. She folded her hans infront of her biting her lip sizing up Emily figuring out what was so special about her really. She seemed like just another stuck up girl to her and she loathed those typical girls. Then again girls acted completly different to guys. "Now tell me Emily the truth you have met some nice or not so nice people around here or a person I'm not dumb." she said sweetly after all she had seen her before with landon when she had first found him. She had to be the girl end of story.

"Emily I'm sorry but I don't think you telling me everything."
Emily stared at the girl like she was crazy. She was not her mother. She was not her best friend. Amy was a complete stranger. "Well... Amy, was it?" she asked, not caring whether it was or not, "I'm sorry but I didn't think it was law to tell you everything." She had basically repeated what Amy had said to her, but just in rephrased it to fit her point of view.
"No...I probably wont this town seems to be full of rude people who just don't give a care...like you."
Emily fought the urge to laugh, but a smile ended up on her face because of that. It wasn't a tooth bearing smile, just a simple line. "I'm sorry," she shrugged. Emily was tired, grumpy, and ready to get home. She didn't feel like wasting her time doing this. This girl obviously wanted something from her though because she wouldn't let her go home.
"Your not going anywhere....do you have any idea who I am.
Emily shook her head, still smiling. "I'm afraid I don't," she replied, her face now serious. "I just met you," she added for the hell of it. Who died and made her queen? she asked herself.
"I still want talk to you....and you not leaving till I say so."
"What?! You're kidding me right? This is a free country, I can leave when I want to," she replied, getting mad. This girl didn't own her. She didn't owe this girl anything. Not to mention the whole owing thing was just going into the negatives now. This could only get worse from here. Emily was too tired to care though, she was tired.
"Now tell me Emily the truth you have met some nice or not so nice people around here or a person I'm not dumb."
She was just aggravated now. She was done playing 21 questions, she just wanted to go home. Who knew she had to go through all this, just to go home. "Honestly, I haven't met any nice people around here," she responded. It didn't even sound like a lie when it left Emily's lips. She impressed herself but wouldn't pat herself on the back quite yet. It was actually technically true. Landon wasn't exactly nice to start out with, so technically she was in the clear.
