Sam and Emily Uley were off busy with the old pack so Xavier was the only one left to go pick up his little sister from school. It was nearing the end of the school day and Xavier was trying to make himself look normal knowing his little sister always hung out with her group of friends after school he didn't want to make a fool of himself in front of her. Not only that but when he got her home it was his turn to train her. Basically his father left him in charge when it came to training Amber. Sighing softly he looked at himself in the bathroom mirror and began trying to fix his hair though he did keep it slightly unkept since he liked that style.
Once he was done fixing his hair he grabbed his car and house keys while he was putting on his running shoes. Once Xavier made sure he locked up the house he headed over to his motorcycle and mounted it leaving his helmet off. His parents had gotten him the motorcycle for graduating from high school and now it was Xavier's baby well other than his current boyfriend James Call. Though no one around La Push knew he was gay except for his little sister and James of course. Kicking the kick stand and putting the keys in he turned his motorcycle on and began to drive off over to La Push High School.
Xavier hadn't been to the high school in quite a while. He was to busy with the pack, with James Call, or busy getting high somewhere. Driving down the dirt roads of La Push he came to a stop when he parked right in front of the high school. He glanced around the area and thats when he noticed his sister. Xavier loved his little sister. He trusted Amber with his life was able to tell her anything even his deepest secret that he was gay.

Amber sat in her English class bored out of her mind. The subject was easy to her and she didn't get why she had to take the class. She could probably understand and teach the subject better than their 57-year-old teacher could. She kept her eyes on the large wall clock that rested in the room. It was her very last class of the day and she did not want to be in the classroom at the moment. She knew she was probably going to be training for the rest of the day, so she was finishing up her algebra homework. It wasn't that hard, she understood algebra fairly well but she had to receive homework on the subject.
The final bell rang and Amber was one of the first ones to stand up. She gathered all her stuff that was for that class and put it in her bag. The teacher didn't get through with the lesson because the class tended to easily drag her off-topic, so there wasn't any homework for her. She was thankful for that, naturally, because that meant she wouldn't probably have to stay up later to keep her grade up. She stalked to her locker and opened it with ease. She shoved her books she didn't need into the open area and grabbed her bag. She ran into some of her friends on the way outside.
Amber and her friends conversed on their way outside. She looked around for her parents. It still annoyed her that she didn't have her own car to drive herself around, that she had to get picked up. Instead of her parents, she saw her older brother on his motorcycle. Her friends started gushing, they thought he was hot. Amber silenced them all with a look. Seriously, as if it weren't awkward enough, they just couldn't wait until she was out of earshot. She walked over to Xavier and greeted him with a simple, "Hi,"

Xavier just waited until Amber came over to him He really didn't want to walk over to her and her friends knowing that all of his younger sister's friends had a huge crush on him was quite annoying. If only they knew his secret that he wasn't into girls. Well he was into girls at one point in his life but after his sixteenth birthday they just lost his interest and he swung more to wards the guys. Though his parents didn't know about that just yet he was still too afraid to tell his father.
Shaking his head slightly he looked down to the ground. They didn't even understand that he was able to hear them due to his high hearing. It was getting quite annoying but he didn't want to break their hearts. He hated breaking peoples hearts but he couldn't just keep leading them on either that would be far worse then breaking their hearts. Sighing softly he slowly looked back up and smiled at the sight of his sister leaving her friends. At least he wouldn't have to talk to her friends today that was a good sign indeed.
"Hey sis had a good day in school" he asked her softly. Out of the entire family it seemed like Xavier was the one who was interested in his sister's life the most. He felt very protective over her and if any guy broke her heart well he would go berserk on their ass. He then made room for his sister to get on to his motorcycle and held his helmet out to her. Xavier never wore his helmet. "Mother and Father went to a reunion they should be back home later" he told her softly.

Amber knew a bit about her brother. She knew a lot of his secrets. She also knew that he didn't like to speak to her friends often, so normally she would give in and do something that wouldn't make him have to talk to her snooty friends. Amber couldn't even imagine what her brother was going through. Their father - they both knew - wasn't exactly the kindest person around. He could be really judgmental and strict. But Amber was fortunate enough to have him wrapped around her finger. It was a difficult place to achieve, but she managed.
Amber knew Xavier could hear basically every word they were saying. One of the many "perks" of being a shapeshifter. Amber was one of them who didn't totally despise the fact that she was a shapeshifter. She found it pretty cool. She just didn't like having the random moments of bursting into a large wolf. Nor did she like having to carry around another set of clothes to dress in. Plus, being a girl in a wolf pack of boys kind of guaranteed awkwardness.
"Hey sis had a good day in school" she heard him ask. She shrugged, "Eh. It was okay; I guess it could've been a bit better. Too bland and boring for my taste," Amber knew that her parents didn't really seem to be at all interested in what was going on in her life. Amber didn't mind. In fact, she liked the privacy she was given. Though, she could complain about the attention she was receiving, or rather - lack of. She got on the motorcycle and and looked at him as he handed her the helmet. She gave him a look. If she did fall off, she would heal fairly quickly. Nevertheless, she took it anyway. She placed it on her head and fastened it. She heard him as he explained where their parents were, "Reunion, huh?" she shrugged. Hm, maybe a chance to slack off on the training a bit today.

Xavier smiled lightly and broke into a soft giggle at what his sister had said about school. "Now I know for certain your my younger sister your turning out just like me even throughout school" he spoke softly. Back when he was in high school Xavier usually fell asleep. Well that was due to the fact that he was a shapeshifter and that his father wasn't giving him enough time to sleep. He was sure if things were different he would have stayed awake in high school or at least tried to. Once he noticed the look she was giving him he just shrugged his shoulders. "Father would kill me if he found out you got hurt because of me remember sis" he reminded her softly. Okay so maybe he wouldn't kill Xavier but they would indeed have a long fight about it and would normally end off with Xavier storming out of the house and running off into the forest.
He then smiled softly as she took the helmet and placed it on her head. Nodding his head he kicked the kick stand back up and turned on his motorcycle again. At what his sister had said he just looked back over to her and nodded his head. "You know with the old pack" he whispered to her softly so none of the humans around would be able to hear what he was saying. He then took one last glance around the school before looked back down to his younger sister. "You better hold on sis" he spoke.
With that he pressed the gas then began to drive down the dirt roads again that led on back to the reservation. Their house was one of the oldest houses on the reservation. In fact their mother and father use to live in it together ever since their father was the alpha of the old pack. It was the Uley house and that was never going to change. Driving down the roads Xavier soon pulled into the small dirt drive way beside their house and turned off his motorcycle before he looked back over to his sister. "Go get washed up I already started dinner for us" he told her softly. Since they were both shapeshifters Xavier had to make a really big meal for the both of them.

Amber chuckled and rolled her eyes at his words, "Wasn't it made clear that I was your sister when we look alike, we're both shifters, and we share personality traits?" she joked, "And it's not like it's intentional; what with all of this training, I'm going insane." Xavier and her dad were both driving her to insanity just so that she could be a well-trained shapeshifter. Since they started, Amber's grades have gone down and she's lost a lot of sleep. She practically had bags under her eyes. Rolling her eyes, Amber grumbled, "I'd heal in a heartbeat, I'm not as fragile as you both think I am. Mom, too. But she's not as bad." She was a bit tired of being the "baby" of the household. She didn't like being watched over. She was getting older, which meant that she could learn to start taking care of herself.
She fastened the helmet and made sure it was on correctly. As the motorcycle revved to life, she wasn't bothered at all by the loud noise. She could tell other random passerbys were by their disgruntled facial expressions. She heard her brother's whisper and looked back over at them, "I figured. Even if it were just a school reunion, the old pack would be there," she shook her head, "Our ancestors have been in this town forever" she exaggerated. Okay, maybe it wasn't forever - but they were around La Push for quite a long while. Xavier had taken her on joyrides on his motorcycle sometimes before, so by now, Amber knew how to ride on one properly.
They sped off towards their mangy house. The town of La Push was a very small town, and the town seemed to pass by even quicker by motorcycle than it did on car. Amber looked around at the all-too-familiar houses that they normally passed on the way home. She snapped back to focus as they reached their house. Before he stopped the motorcycle she had already had her hands reaching up to the latch of the helmet. It was off her head and in her hands by the time they stopped. She pulled her school bag to her shoulder again. She nodded as he said to go and wash up. She walked to the door then turned around and threw the helmet back at him. "Heads up." She called at him. She turned around and opened the door. Amber headed up their family's stairs to set her school bag down and wash up from her school day.
