Xavier really hadn't been sleeping well for the past month and a half. In fact to be quite honest his father never let him sleep anymore. Ever since Sam found out that his eldest child was a shape shifter like him Sam had been over working Xavier like crazy. Basically Sam had been training his son from morning to night and sometimes even past night and on to the next day you know after midnight. Now of course his mother Emily had tried to talk to Sam about giving Xavier a day of rest and thanks to his mother he was finally allowed one day without training. Though when tomorrow hit his father wanted him up early yet again for more training.
Yawning softly Xavier looked out towards the water that was crashing against the cliffs and the beach. He was on the highest cliff just looking out to the water. It was actually peaceful for once to not worry about training or failing and making his father upset at him. Having the ex alpha male as a father well it was basically hell. Sam wanted everything from his eldest child and deep down Xavier was getting quite tired of it. Though he would never admit that to his father's face. He was to scared to admit it to his father's face.
So he just stuck to writing out what he was feeling in a journal and when that didn't work he would grab some drugs and get himself high. When Xavier was high everything was perfect. Like it seemed like nothing would matter to him. But sadly he forgot his drugs back at home today and his journal so he did the third thing that he loved cliff diving. He ripped off his t-shirt and jeans and just stood on the tallest cliff in his bathing trucks. Glancing down to how rough the water was down below he just shook his head as he moved back. Xavier then ran at his fastest speed and flung himself off the cliff doing one simple flip before he began falling down to the water below.

It was hard to find a reason for why Alex was going exactly where he was going. Nothing was making sense anymore. Nothing. Everything seemed to be changing. Well, mainly it was only him who was changing. He towered over everyone he met, he was no longer the average height guy. His mom seemed to have all the answers, all of them, but she wouldn't tell any of them. All she told him was that he just had to wait and soon it would all make sense. All Alexander could do was curse under his breath and walk away, wondering what kind of explanation was that.
There was a part of him, not a strong part, but a part of him that knew why he was in his Mustang and driving to the La Push cliffs. It wasn't because he didn't like being in La Push so he decided to aggravate himself. No, not that. Even though it felt like that's exactly what he was doing. He knew his father, and his great-great-grandfather spent a lot of their time here, as well as his great-grandfather who was still living in La Push somewhere. That's where the side of his dad's family had resided. Alex was just hoping that he'd find some kind of answer, to anything that was going on.
When Alex pulled up, he cut the ignition and looked out the window to see a guy cliff diving. His brothers and sisters had told him about it but it didn't interest Alex. It never had so he heard. His mom said even when he was younger, he was off doing other stuff instead of dreaming about jumping off the cliffs. He had just shrugged when he heard that, he really didn't care.
Opening the door, he stepped out and looked around. This was pointless. Nothing was here. He walked around the flat rock for a little bit before giving up. He walked back over to his car and closed the door. Just when he was about to get in reverse, someone tapped on his window.

After flinging himself off the cliff and landing into the water below Xavier swam against the current towards the beach. Being as strong as he was Xavier swam through the current with ease the current not even holding him back. Swimming back on over to the beach he took a quick glance around that's when his eyes landed on someone he never thought he would see ever again. It was his best childhood friend Alexander. They spent every moment of their childhood together that was until Alexander left La Push. When that happened Xavier began to get into the drug scene. That was one of the main reasons he turned to drugs to get over the depression of his best friend leaving and thinking he'll never see him again.
Blinking and rubbing his eyes with his hands Xavier slowly brought his hands down and he glanced back on over in the direction he had seen Alexander. He was still there so his tired mind wasn't playing tricks on him. His best friend had actually came back to La Push but for what Xavier honestly had no idea. Though he did have a small slight theory. "Maybe he's getting ready for his change" Xavier thought silently in his head. Reaching down he grabbed his towel off the sand and began to dry himself off before he put his t-shirt on over his chest and decided to leave his swim trunks on. Being a shape shifter he had a lot of body heart so he wouldn't be cold even if the water was freezing.
Slowly Xavier then headed back up to the parking lot then over to Alexander's car. Once he was close enough he gently tapped on to the driver's window. He still couldn't believe it after all these years Alexander had come back to La Push. Deep down Xavier just wished he would stay this time. He couldn't deal with his best childhood friend leaving for a second time. Just the thinking about it nearly killed Xavier. He didn't want to think about it any longer.

Alex was about to gladly go in reverse and just pushed everything out of his head. None of this made sense, none of it. He should've known he wasn't going to find any answers from a stupid cliff. It's not like it could talk. Just when Alex was about to step on the gas, someone tapped on his window. He sighed loudly before turning his head to look out the window. He saw a guy standing there.
He unbuckled quickly before placing his hand on the door handle and opening the door. Alex stood up, his eyebrow raised. He looked around the place, wondering what was going on. You could definitely tell on his face that he was confused out of his mind. He didn't know who this guy was or what he wanted. He had no clue.
Alex finally gave in and opened his mouth to talk. "May I help you?" confusion in his voice, looking at the guy. They were the exact same height, same amount of muscles. Everything. Maybe everyone down in La Push was this big. Just some La Push gene. Everyone his dad's side had been from La Push, that had to be it. Right?

Xavier was grateful when Alex got out of his car. Though once he did he noticed they were about the same height. "He is getting ready to change he just doesn't know whats about to happen" Xavier thought silently to himself. Just looking at Alexander all their past together came rushing back to Xavier in a massive wave. Every single moment that they spent together came flooding back to him and he was glad it did. He had missed his best friend dearly. Missed talking on the phone to Alex or even just talking to him and sometimes even comforting him when something was bothering him. Those are the times that Xavier missed most.
Though at the sound of Alexander's question he was brought back down to earth from his dream world as a small smile formed gently on his lips. "You don't remember me do you" Xavier asked him softly as he watched him. By the sound of his confusion in his voice Xavier could only guess that Alexander didn't remember him. The last time they saw each other was way back. Xavier was only like seven the very last time he saw Alexander which was about thirteen years ago. That was a long time for best friend to be away from each other and enough time to make Alexander forget about everything in La Push but that was something Xavier never forgot.
Slowly he brought one of his hands up and ran it through his hair. He had to remember to not allow Alexander to touch his skin knowing it was boiling hot he didn't want Alexander to start thinking he had a fever. Besides when the time was right Alexander would soon find out what he had been missing out on. "We use to spend every single moment together in La Push when we were very little our mothers couldn't split us apart" Xavier reminded him softly.

Leaning his back against the car, Alex just starred at the guy. What in the world was going on? He bit his lip and rubbed his chin. It was a habit or anything but he had to do something without feeling awkward in the slightest bit. None of this was making any sense and it just continued to add more and more.
"You don't remember me do you"
He shook his head slowly at that question. He had no clue who this guy was. "Am I supposed to?" he asked slowly, still confused. If his mom would just explain everything then he wouldn't be so confused. This just added on top of it all. A guy who knew him but he had no clue who he was. Course the guy looked a few years older then him so it was a possibility they knew each other but Alex knew he was so young when he lived here. Plus, he didn't like to remember La Push.
"We use to spend every single moment together in La Push when we were very little our mothers couldn't split us apart"
Alex raised an eyebrow. He didn't remember anything from La Push. He was pretty sure he was five or six when he left. "We did?" he asked, still confused. What he wouldn't give for a beer right now, at least he was allowed to not remember anything when he was somewhat tipsy. Course he had such a tolerance now, it probably took him fifteen just to get to tipsy, never mind getting drunk.

Xavier just continued to watch Alexander. He could tell that he was just getting more confused by the minutes. Though Xavier knew that once Alexander's transformation took place he would understand everything. If he didn't Xavier himself could try to explain it to his best friend. Glancing out to the water for a quick second he then looked back to Alexander and slowly nodded his head. "Well I could only guess you would forget about me knowing how long you've been away from La Push you've forgotten about everything here even the tales our parents use to tell us didn't you" Xavier asked him softly.
Glancing back out to the water he watched the waves crash against the beach before he slowly looked back on over to Alexander and slowly nodded his head. "Yes we did we use to be the best of friends before you left this place doing everything together from tag to hearing the tales from our parents" he added quietly. Xavier then gently bit down his lower lip. He was thinking about telling the tale to Alexander about the wolves. Maybe if he did it might jog his memory slightly and it would be a small hint towards what was going to happen to him soon enough.
"Here follow me I have a tale to tell you" he spoke. Xavier then made his way down to the beach and sat down on the circle made of logs. This was where Xavier held his pack meetings and he knew soon enough Alexander would be part of the pack as well. "It will help you with your confusion" he spoke again with a small nod of his head.

"Well I could only guess you would forget about me knowing how long you've been away from La Push you've forgotten about everything here even the tales our parents use to tell us didn't you"
Alexander's eye twitched out of nowhere. What?! His head felt like it was swimming in circles. This is what happened when you tried to revisit your past, you just get... confused? Sure, let's go with that. Alex nodded once at the guy. He didn't even know him, let alone his name and here he was talking like they'd known each other since birth. Probably did actually but hell, no one could remember back to their birth. This guy had to be what, two years older then him though so he would definitely remember a lot more then Alex.
"Yes we did we use to be the best of friends before you left this place doing everything together from tag to hearing the tales from our parents"
He nodded once again. What other reaction could he do? Fake remembering the guy. Yeah, that would work out real well. Especially when he wouldn't be able to say the guy's name. Alex felt his cell phone vibrate in his pocket and he quickly grabbed it, looking at a text he had received. He sighed loudly, like he was frustrated, before placing it back in his pocket. That would have to wait until later, or never. Either way, he didn't feel like dealing with her that instant anyways, he was too caught up in other shit. Most people would've considered what Alex had done rude. Considering he was in the midst of his conversation but everything he did almost always had a funny side of it. He was just blunt about everything and himself.
"Here follow me I have a tale to tell you"
Taking a few steps toward the guy, Alex considered running back to the car and driving off. He looked over his shoulder once, not allowing the guy to see, before sighing softly. Fine, he had caught his interest. Alex pulled out his keys and locked the door before continuing to the logs that the guy had gone too.
"It will help you with your confusion"
Alex thought about it before finally seating himself on a log across from the guy. "Fine," he started, "let's get this over with and see if it helps." Alex blinked. He always realized he was blunt before it was too late. Go figure.
